A Day in the Life of A KingdomWarrior

Who is KingdomWarrior?

Hi everyone. My name is Joy and that is my little boy Elijah in the photo with me. He was 8 months then. Just turned 11 months on June1.

I am a single mom throough adoption. My heart is for children. I am working with a friend in ministry to help young women who are pregnant and need a place to go. We will provide counseling, food, clothing (for both mom and child), and adoption counseling and placement if the mother so desires.

Also, I am an ordained minister, but I prefer to minister outside the church. I have many young people that I mentor and counsel. Some have drug/alcohol addictions, eating disorders, occult activity, and sex abuse.

Lastly, I am a business owner. Ijah Joy Creations is a jewelry company. I create bridal jewelry and am now working on mother's rings. Jewelyr creation as been a hobby for several years, but since Elijah was born I realized that I needed to stay at home with him instead of travelling for my company (insurance sales). I wanted something that would support us, allow me to stay at home, and also give me financial resources for ministry.

God bless,
~Joy and Elijah

I am a Soldier

“I am a Soldier”

I am a soldier, a prayer warrior, in the Army of My God. The Lord Yeshua HaMashiach is my Commanding Officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct, Faith, Prayer and the Word are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire. I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity. I will either retire in this Army at His second coming, or die in this Army: but I will not get out, sell out, be t… Continue

We Are Home

Hi all, just wanted to let you all know that we are now home. It was a great trip and we had a lot of fun.

Elijah was very excited, yet calm. Probably the calmest he has been in months. Slept wonderfully, no more night terrors.

I am too tired to post any events yet, but just wanted to say thanks for all the prayers for peace for the family.

PS - a 7 hour trip turned into nearly 12 hours each way. Oh the adventures of traveling while following MapQuest!

On Vacation

Hello all, I will be leaving early Thursday morning and won't be back till late Sunday evening - though I probably won't be on the computer till Monday. Then Wednesday, I begin a prep for a medical procedure on Thursday.

This coming week and next week is very busy for us. Please keep us in prayer for safe travel and also for peace in our family. Being stuck in a car for nearly 7 hours each way is going to be rough.

See you all soon! God bless,
~Joy and Elijah

A dream from Tuesday - Elijah attacked

I hate to even recount this dream, but I must. There is something to be learnt here or at least shown forth.

First, I was in a house. Tim and Jill Taylor and the boys (Home Improvement) were there. A black version of Tim and Jill were also there. Black Jill was pregnant and went into labor. White Jill began to try to deliver the baby (Patricia played a dr in Strong Medicine). She realized it was false labor and black Jill went home (which turned out to be the house across the street from me). N… Continue

What is Worship

I have to ask this question. So many times we have the tought that worship is the Sunday service or either the music section of the services. Worship is so much more. The Lord is leading me to study and dig into the topic of Worship. There are 2 verses that the Lord is impressing upon me. John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him mu… Continue

WRECKED SHIP
A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able
to swim to a small, desert like island.
The two survivors, not knowing what else to do, agreed that they had no way out but to pray to God. However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island

The first thing the first man prayed for was food.
The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land,
and he was able to eat its fruit.

The other man's piece of land remained barren.

After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for a wife.
The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman
who swam to his side of the land.

On the other side of the island, there was nothing.

Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food.
The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him.

However, the second man still had nothing.

Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that his wife and he could leave the island.
In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the island.

The first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island. He considered the other man unworthy to receive God's blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered.

As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from Heaven booming, "Why are you leaving your companion on the island?"

"My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for them," the first man answered. "His prayers were all unanswered, and so he does not deserve anything."

"You are mistaken!" the voice rebuked him.
"He had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not have
received any of my blessings."

"Tell me," the first man asked the voice,
"what did he pray for that I should owe him anything?"

"He prayed that all your prayers be answered."

For all we know, our blessings are not the fruits of our prayers alone, but those of another praying for us.

When Jesus died on the cross he was thinking of you!

All thanks goes to God. I am just a person that He chooses to work through.
And just so you know, I have had a very successful youth ministry for over 26 years until the past year where I had to lay it down, because The Lord wanted me for a different calling. So i turned it over to a young man in our church.
I have mentored over 30 young men over that time period. So God has richly blessed our ministry throughout that time, and when I injured myself, many of them came around and helped me when I needed it.
Elijah is going to be a fine man of God. You will have some rough times ahead, but like I said, don't look to the right, or to the left, but keep your eyes on Jesus, throughout all of the tough times, and trust no one.
God Bless

Well, the reason is because you have taken someone (Elijah) that was promised to Satan, and consecrated him to The Lord, and Satan will fight tooth and nail to get him back. Remember, that Satan has no rules that he must follow, except that he cannot cross the hedge of protection that is put around us by God, through His spirit. Job 1:9-10 (NKJV)
9 So Satan answered the Lord and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing?
10 Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
He could not touch Job as long as that hedge was around him. That hedge is still available today, and that is through the Blood of Christ. And as long as Jesus is alive, that Blood is alive as a protection, because it is a testimony of how Jesus already defeated Satan, and so he cannot cross it.
When God sees The Blood of Christ, He immediately recognizes us as one of His children. The same goes for Satan when he sees The Blood, he knows immediately that we are one of God's children, and unless we allow him to, he cannot influence or attack us. The Blood is alive and powerful.
So that is why he will continue to try to fight Elijah, because he cannot call The Blood on himself, but you can do it for him. And now that you know about the contract that was made between his parents and Satan, he is mad, because now you have the knowledge of how to handle it.
John 8:32 (NKJV)
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
That verse is misquoted so much. I have heard it quoted, shall set you free.
If I set you free, I open the door and allow you the freedom to leave.
If I make you free, just as the angel did with Peter, I take you by the hand, and open the door, and lead you out where you are free.
And you countered it, and now Elijah sleeps much better, and will from now on, praise God.
